We collect information to provide better Services to our users and so we can make decisions about ways to make our community better, including through use of the Event Integrity Task Force (“EITF”) (https://www.eventintegrity.com/task-force-about). When you interact with Event Integrity through our Services and websites, we may collect personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”) and other information from you, as further described below.
Information You Give Us: We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information. Personal information may include, for example: your name, age or date of birth, postal address, ZIP code, Social Security Number or FEIN, email address, telephone number, wireless device address, text message address, screen name or username, photograph or photographs you may provide to us, geolocation information, payment card and other payment information, event dates and related information, occupation, industry, personal interests, hobbies, and demographic information. We collect Personal Data via our website in a variety of circumstances, including when you contact us with inquiries, respond to one of our surveys, register for access to our Services, or use certain Services.
Information that is Publicly Available: By applying through our certification process or by using our Services (as defined in our Terms of Service), we may collect and use publicly-available information about you or your company for marketing, promotional, and other reasonably commercial purposes, as detailed in our Terms of Service (“TOS”).
Other Information: Non-Identifiable Data: When you interact with Event Integrity through the website or our Services, we receive and store certain personally non-identifiable information. Such information, which is collected passively using various technologies, cannot presently be used to specifically identify you. Event Integrity may store such information itself or such information may be included in databases owned and maintained by Event Integrity’s affiliates, agents or service providers. The Services may use such information and pool it with other information to track, for example, the total number of visitors to our website, the number of visitors to each page of our website, and the domain names of our visitors' Internet service providers. It is important to note that no Personal Data is available or used in this process.
Aggregated Personal Data: In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the website and our Services, Event Integrity may conduct research on its customer demographics, interests, and behavior based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us, including information available in vendor contracts and related proposals that you may upload. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and Event Integrity may share this aggregate data with its affiliates, agents, and business partners. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. Event Integrity may also disclose aggregated user statistics to describe our Services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third-parties for other lawful purposes.
Location Information: Our Services and third-parties that are integrated into our website may collect and use your actual location information (for example, by using the GPS on your mobile device, IP address, and other sensors that may provide Event Integrity with information on nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points, and cell towers, or when you submit a photo or other material that may contain geographic information in its metadata) to provide certain functionality for our website and Services. We may also use your location information in an aggregate way, as described above in the "Aggregated Personal Data" section.
We also utilize services with Mighty Networks, Wild Apricot, AWS, Microsoft, Zoom, UseLoom, Wix, Go Daddy, Cognito Forms, Mail Chimp, HubSpot, Meetup, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Medium, Agile CRM, Soci, which may be changed or updated from time to time in the normal course of business, and each collects similar information described above, but will use it in their individual way. We do not own or control any of these sites. Please visit them to view their individual privacy policies.

The above tracking technologies may be deployed by us or our Service providers on our behalf. By using our website, you agree to our use of the above tracking technologies. You may refuse to supply Personal Data or opt out of data tracking by contacting us at the information below, with the understanding it may prevent you from using our websites, the Services, or engaging in certain website- or Event Integrity-related activities.
B. Do Not Track Disclosure
Our third-party partners, such as ad networks, web analytics companies, and social media and networking platforms, collect information about your online activities over time and across our websites and other online properties. These third-parties may not change their tracking practices in response to “Do Not Track” or “DNT” settings in your web browser, and we do not obligate these parties to honor DNT settings. C. How We Use Information We Collect
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect, and improve our Services, to develop new Services, and to protect Event Integrity and our users. We also use this information to offer you tailored content, like giving you more relevant search results and ads. We use information collected from cookies and other technologies to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our Services. For example, by saving your location, we will be able to tailor the available Services to your location. We use user contact information (name, email, address) for educational and promotional purposes, such as sharing offers and new techniques and other educational information with you. In addition, Event Integrity uses certain publicly-available photos, marks, logos, company and biographical information, and other of your publicly available commercial content in accord with our Terms of Service to market and promote businesses or applicants, and for other commercially reasonable activities.
D. Our Disclosure of Your Personal Data and Other Information
Event Integrity does not sell your information. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with certain third-parties without further notice to you, as discussed above and set forth below:
Agents, Consultants and Related Third-Parties: Event Integrity, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. Examples of such functions include mailing information, maintaining databases, analytics, and processing payments. When we employ another entity to perform a function of this nature, we only provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function.
Legal Requirements: Event Integrity may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, legal process, judgment, order, or enforceable governmental request; (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Event Integrity, including the enforcement of applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations; (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of our Services or the public, including the detection, prevention, or to otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues; or, (iv) protect against legal liability.

People have different privacy concerns. Our goal at Event Integrity is to be clear about what information we collect so that you can make meaningful choices about how it is used. You can visit our websites without providing any Personal Data. However, if you choose not to provide any Personal Data, you may not be able to fully use the website or use the Services. You may also set your browser to block all cookies, as explained above, including cookies associated with our Services, or to indicate when a cookie is being set by us. However, it’s important to remember that the website and the Services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
You have the right, in certain situations, to be forgotten, i.e., to have your Personal Data erased, to terminate any further dissemination of your Personal Data, and to have third-parties we work with cease processing your Personal Data. You also have the right to request: (i) access to your Personal Data; (ii) an electronic copy of your Personal Data (portability); (iii) correction of your Personal Data if it is incomplete or inaccurate; or (iii) deletion or restriction of your Personal Data in certain circumstances provided by applicable law. Where we have obtained your consent for the processing of your Personal Data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If you have a request regarding your Personal Data that cannot be fulfilled from your account settings, please contact us at the information below. You can also request removal of posted content on our websites, subject to the Exclusions listed below, but please note that removal may not encompass all possible locations, for example, back-ups or sharing by other users initiated prior to removal. Upon a request, we will provide your Personal Data to you as reasonably possible and free of charge. We will do so promptly, and in no event within one month after receipt of your request.

Event Integrity takes reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data provided via our website and Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We use a variety of technical, administrative, and organizational security measures, including encryption and authentication tools in certain circumstances, to maintain the safety of your Personal Data. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free, in particular, email sent to or from our website or Services may not be secure. We have no liability for disclosure of your information due to errors or unauthorized acts of third-parties during or after transmission. If you create an account on our websites, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for any activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us of any unauthorized use of your password or account.

This information is used to keep you informed of any changes in your status with our company or to occasionally pass on important information about our Services or offerings. If you are using or have signed up to become a part of our mailing list through utilization of an opt-in feature, your information is used to keep in contact with you related to company or industry news, special offerings, upcoming events, or announcements from our company. We maintain a strict 'no-spam' policy. Your email address, personal information, or mailing address will not be sold or rented to a third-party.
